So I got a new lens over the weekend (definitely my last one unless I sell/trade one) and I’m still learning how to use it. It’s a manual focus lens, so I have to actually move the focus ring myself to get my images in focus. It takes me back to shooting with my FM2n camera which is a fully manual camera. It’s gonna be tough trying to take pictures on the fly, but I guess it’ll only help me become a better photographer. To get SUUUUUUPER sharp images, I have to stop down to about f/2 or f/2.8, but that’s not what this post is about! This is post is about my trial images over the past few days shooting wide open at f/1.2. There were a lot of images that were thrown away because the IQ (image quality) just wasn’t good. Either things were way out of focus or way too soft. It’s really tough to use a f/1.2 or even an f/1.2 for that matter, wide open. The great thing about the f/1.2 is that when you stop down to get sharper images, you’re at f/2 or 2.8 instead of f/5.6. Well anyways, enough blabbing. Here are the images.
OH YEAH, A WINGSTOP AND FRESH MARKET OPENED NEAR ME. I’M SO EXCITED.
PLEASE REMEMBER: These are just test images and I’m still learning how to use this little nifty fifty :)
